PBMM: Yoooo it's the god OG Bizzle holding it down for Palm Beach Muzik Mag & we have a very special guest here with us all the way from the PA. What's going on with you today big brother? Can you let the people know who you are?
MicBarz: My name is MicBarz, I’m based out in Chambersburg, Pa. I'm tryna make it to the top with my passion with muzik, but I’m originally from Ohio. I’m a trap artist, pop artist, hip-hop artist, & muzik is my outlet from life itself for real. I got 2 kids Silas my son is 6 & Christopher my son which is 8.
PBMM: Why do you make muzik?
MicBarz: Muzik has always been my passion since I was kid. I remember when me & my old friends would stand in circles & spit bars back & forth with each other. I always enjoyed muzik class in school, it was just something that hit me differently.
PBMM: As an artist, how have you grown since you wrote your first song?
MicBarz: So I wrote, recorded & produced my first song in 5th grade, it was called Make the Block Rumble & it’s funny 'cause you can still find that song on YouTube as well. But from then to now I've learned marketing techniques, distribution & so much more then what I knew from then.
PBMM: How have real life events influenced your muzik?
MicBarz: Well I grew up hard honestly. Dad was not in the picture period, my mother always kept our life in secret so there isn’t much I know about that. I got into slangin' at a very young age, anything I could get ahold of honestly; then came the fighting & such. When I turned 18, I finally decided -- man I gotta get myself together honestly. But even in every dark moment I had in my childhood something always turned me to muzik.
PBMM: How has your muzik helped improve today’s society?
MicBarz: My muzik has been pushed to every major platform I could get it to, my muzik has fell into the same category as any of these artists today. The difference is I can switch from pop to hip-hop to trap to rap to pop punk. An my fans that love lyricists love that about me.
PBMM: If you could do a track with any artist in Franklin County and/or mainstream who would it be?
MicBarz: Well around in Franklin County it’s small & everybody pretty much knows each other, but they all rather compete then work together. I would work with anyone around here if they are consistent & truly passionate about there muzik, & mainstream wise I would make tracks with MGK, DaBaby, Lil Baby & Lil Wayne & Gucci Mane. They fire for real.
PBMM: What (if any) things are you involved in other than muzik?
MicBarz: Well I currently work in a warehouse for Geodis which pretty much consumes my time, but even though I work I still make my career in muzik my top priority! I always liked going to abandoned areas & such & making videos of exploring them for real.
